T.S Pattabhiraman, Chairman, Kalyan Silks (textiles), Prof. Pramod P Thevannoor, Vice Chairman, SCMS Group (Education) Shri. S.N. Raghuchandran Nair, Managing Director, SI Property (Real Estate), George Dominic, Executive Director, CGH Earth Group (Tourism), Shri. Alex K. Ninan, Managing Director, Baby Marine Group (Exim trade) spoke about the challenges and issues during Covid in their respective sectors and urged FICCI to take up the same with Hon’ble Chief Minister, Govt. of Kerala in coordination with Planning Board, Govt of Kerala. Dr. Joy N. R, Chief, Industry and Infrastructure Division, State Planning Board, Kerala shared responses from the Board before summing up the Panel Discussion. FICCI Kerala State Council Co-Chairman Dr. MI Sahadulla, Co-Chair, FICCI Kerala State Council was the moderator of the Panel Discussion.
Dr. V K Ramachandran, Vice Chairman, State Planning Board, Govt of Kerala remarked, “There should be high-tech small business ventures in the healthcare sector. IT related sectors, tourism and skill development are the areas that Kerala should focus on. The industrial development of Kerala should go hand in hand with the achievements of Kerala in various fields and the public and private sectors alike are important”.
